My
name is Matthew Lambert, welcome to my racing career.
In 2011 and
2012 I competed in the Ma5da MX-5 championship, the biggest one make series in the UK with over 100 registered drivers and
‘round by round’ TV coverage of every race on Men and Motors TV.
At 16, I was the youngest driver
on the grid and I had a very successful season showing myself to be a front running driver which culminated in 3rd overall
and setting the fastest lap in the Autumn championship at Silverstone in September 2011. I am now 17 years old and am continuing
my ambitions as a racing driver by competing in the Caterham championship for 2013
Before the
MX-5’s I spent four years racing in national level karting, the highlight being in 2009 when I competed in Formula Kart
Stars which is supported by F1's Bernie Ecclestone and Lewis Hamilton and is still shown on TV today.
Future Ambitions and Goals
To race
in the Caterham Championship for 2013 in the Supersport class
To get involvement from potential investors and sponsors that carries the same ambitions as me; to become an international
racing champion competing and promoting not only myself but others that help me along the way.
To become World GT or World Touring Car champion

Outside of Racing
Whilst
I'm not racing I'm studying for my A-levels and in addition to this I have been awarded a place on the prestigious
Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE) course. This is a government-funded, performance enhancing programme
that aims to develop students into elite athletes.
